Our twenty-second state capitol – Annapolis MD

We stopped at our twenty-second state capitol in Annapolis, Maryland. The girls learned that Maryland is called the Old Line State, that its state bird is the Baltimore Oriole and that its state flower is the Black-Eyed Susan. They also learned that Harriet Tubman, who helped hundreds escape slavery through the Underground Railroad, was from Maryland.
