Our twenty-third state capitol – Harrisburg, PA

We visited our twenty-third capitol in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The girls learned that the state flower of Pennsylvania is the Mountain Laurel, that the state bird is the Ruffed Grouse, and that Pennsylvania’s nickname is the Keystone State. They also learned that the Declaration of Independence was signed in Philadelphia in 1776.
