Our twenty-forth state capitol – Dover, DE
We visited our twenty-forth state capitol in Dover, Delaware. The girls learned that Delaware is only 9 miles wide at the narrowest point, that its state bird is the Blue Hen Chicken, and that its state flower is the Peach Blossom. They also learned that Delaware’s state nickname is the First State.
