We took a quick overnight trip to the Everglades on our way down to the FL Keys. Unfortunately, we had to go after work, since there is little to no service there, but it was still cool. On our way out on Saturday morning, we stopped at a famous fruit stand and shake place called Robert is Here and had a couple of yummy fruit shakes.
This winter, we participated in the Fulltime Family Winter 2013 Rally, and met up with several of our friends who also travel around in their RVs, and we also met several new families. There were lots of awesome activities for the kids and the adults!

Today, we went fossil hunting in the Peace River in Florida. We made out like bandits!!!
We found some petrified wood, a bunch of sharks teeth, a few vertebrae and some fossilized shells and coral.
We traveled to Disney and met some friends in Fort Wilderness and had an awesome time. The girls attended a class in Epcot, we visited multiple parks, and we had some fun time by the fire just hanging out. The girls also got to take their very first archery class, and they did really well! . After it all, they were exhausted!
It took us a week to get this blog post up, but it’s finally up! The girls and Daddy, along with one of their friends, drove up to Canada for the day, to go to the science and natural history museums in Saskatewan’s capitol city of Regina. It was the first time that the girls have ever been to Canada, and they just needed their birth certificates and a permission slip from Mommy to go across the border. Daddy said that the drive was pretty boring (2 hours of completely flat farm land), but the girls were super excited to see all of the exhibits at the museums, so it was totally worth it! (And as an added bonus, entry into the science museum was free, since they participate in the ASTC reciprocal program http://www.astc.org/members/passlist.htm!)
The Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) is a touring theater group that has been traveling around Montana (and all 50 states, as well as internationally) conducting week-long camps/tours since the 1970s. It may work differently in different areas, as different organizations host the traveling group for the week, but in Plentywood, the children do not have to pay any fees to be in the play, and everything is funded strictly by entrance tickets for the 2 shows, snacks and DVD sales at the shows, and by donations. More information can be found at the Missoula Children’s Theatre here: http://www.mctinc.org/.
During the week of August 6-11th, Katelynn and Adrianna participated in the Missoula Children’s Theatre’s presentation of The Wizard of Oz in Plentywood, Montana. Adrianna was a Fierce and Ferocious Flower and Katelynn was a Winki and part of the tornado that took Dorothy and Toto away. Katelynn even had a line! They both had an absolute blast, and we are all very thankful that they were able to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity. Below are a few pictures from the show.
